The Vision: Classic Meets Contemporary

Our client envisioned a kitchen that was both stylish and timeless. To achieve this, we selected Omega’s Stately Shaker Wood in Hickory, paired with a contrasting Limestone finish. This combination provided a fresh, yet classic look that perfectly complements the heritage of the house.

Design Details: Blending Old and New

To enhance the overall design, we included feature skirting plinths and antique brass handles and knobs. These elements added a touch of vintage charm, harmonizing with the house’s period features. The Quooker patinated brass tap was the perfect finishing touch, offering modern functionality with a nod to tradition.

Luxurious Finishes: The Perfect Worktop

The worktop selection was crucial to the kitchen’s transformation. We chose Calacatta Gold in both 20mm and 30mm thicknesses to provide a luxurious, durable surface that would stand the test of time. The elegant veining of the Calacatta Gold added a touch of sophistication to the kitchen.

Creating Distinct Areas: Main Kitchen and Dresser

To further enhance the functionality of the space, we created two distinct areas: the main kitchen and a dresser area. This  not only improved workflow but also provided a dedicated space for displaying and storing beautiful dishware and accessories.
